Together, the two come face-to-face with countless perils, creatures and yet they still manage to overcome the odds in this fun filled family flick.

Writer Aurora Dunn (Jennifer Lawrence) and mechanical engineer Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) awaken 90 years before their voyage is due to reach its destination.

Coming from opposite backgrounds, Aurora fascinated with cosmic travel and Jim just desperate to leave Earth, the two soon learn that the error that caused their pods to malfunction is the least of their worries aboard the sprawling spacecraft.
